126km THE DROVER
The Drover is the longest race on the day and takes you on a journey to two of the most iconic lakes in New Zealand; Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo.
The course utilises the unique features of this landscape; the canals that cut through the land, the turquoise hues of the lakes, and the mountain views all around - including New Zealand's tallest mountain, Aoraki / Mount Cook.
The Drover is an incredible experience - riding amongst the best scenery in New Zealand, fully supported along the way, and an iconic medal to show for it!
100km THE MUSTER
The Muster takes you on a journey across private high-country stations alongside one of New Zealand's most scenic lakes, Lake Tekapo. For this day only you will have exclusive access to these three stations, allowing you the opportunity of a lifetime to cycle in this incredible location.
The race is a series of farm loops, allowing you a true one-day only experience. Each loop includes a small hill, truly maximizing the views of the lakes and the Mackenzie Region. The race starts with Godley Peaks Station before moving to Glenmore Station, and finally Balmoral Station. Riders will see the vast landscape in all directions, also including Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki, and glimpses of Aoraki / Mount Cook.
75km THE SHEPHERD
Introducing the Four Square Tekapo | The Shepherd - an incredible gravel race designed for riders who want all the scenery and stoke without the technical terrain on the farms. This epic course takes you around the canals, along the shores of Lake Pukaki, and up the iconic Braemar Road. With this race also offering an E Bike category, The Shepherd offers something for every rider.
The course is predominately gravel road, with some short sections of sealed road. Riders will enjoy some of the most spectacular views on race day; the turquoise water in the canals and Lake Pukaki, the majestic Mackenzie landscape, and mountain views all around - including New Zealand's tallest mountain, Aoraki / Mount Cook.
48km THE HUNTAWAY
Introducing The Huntaway - a brand-new MTB race designed for riders who want to experience this iconic landscape with exclusive access to private high-country stations.
Each farm section will include farm roads (gravel), paddock trails, rocky tracks, and some stream crossings on occasion. This is a true MTB event with approximately 950m elevation gain across the 48km distance.
The views atop Balmoral Station are unforgettable. 360 degree views of the Mackenzie Region, including Lake Pukaki, Lake Tekapo, and even a glimpse of Aoraki / Mount Cook.

Introducing the brand new Tekapo Springs | The Merino - the perfect shorter mountain bike adventure for riders wanting to experience the spectacular scenery, exclusive station access and unforgettable atmosphere of The Mackenzie by Devold in a more achievable distance.
You will get to ride by Lake Alexandrina and out on to Balmoral Station.
